Sharing and Creating playlists for Apple Music

Apple Music gives different features and options.  Some can be found easily like Beats 1 Radio but some are hidden like creating a playlist and then sharing it.

Creating the playlist is quite simple procedure but you need to grasp its working.  After launching the Music app at the bottom some new buttons can be seen and then tap on My Music button.  Now on screen top tap the Playlist button.  Moving through recent songs and albums and other playlists you will find new button.  Tap on it and type in the name you want for your playlist.  You can add songs or even a picture.  Searching content give you two options either search through Apple Music or your own music.  You can even skip the photo option allowing the music to create playlist icon based on songs in playlist.

After adding song in the playlist, the button for sharing will appear.  The option is on position by default meaning the link can be sent to others to add your playlist in their own Apple Music.  If you want to keep playlist private then just slide the button to off position.  After you are done with the playlist, you just need to save it.  For sharing it just tap the share button.  In future if any changes are made in the playlist then it will get updated on all devices where it is saved which means if your friend has saved the playlist then changes will also appear in his/her device.

Currently your friends have no option for adding a song in the playlist you create.  Another limitation of significance is if a song is present in the list that is not from Apple Music then although it will be present in the shared list but it will be inactive until the user also owns the song.

So you can now easily share your organized songs which you have collected through a lot of effort with your friends and close ones.  At least you can help others for finding the right selection and they don’t need to go through all the tough work.  Now you have the option of giving your music list as a present or goodwill token to your loved ones.
