Why we need custom setting of online:
Using facebook chatting application it enables you sending and receiving messages from your friends, fellows , family member etc. when we see right sidebar chat menu those people who are online their status differs by a green dot from offline. In this way we easily communicate with all of those at a time. It is an amazing and instantly features.
But problem occurs when we add someone stranger by chance or don’t want to talk any friend or family member on facebook due to any issue. At that stage we feel how to change or hide my status offline from a specific person.
Seem offline but actually online:
Follow this easy and one way process and always remain offline from one who bothering you or you don’t want to talk him/her. Simply go to right bottom corner of your chat interface.
1. Now click on rounded options button as indicated into figure below.
2. Select advance options from the menu.
Custom settings:
In advance chat setting a dialogue box appears with three options. Use first option “Turn on chat for all friends except” in the box provided write the name for that specific person for the sake of remaining offline from him/her in facebook chatting feature. Also here you include many a number of people you want to offline from them. At last press save and you are done. Since this time you will be non accessible or offline from your selected friend where as actually you are online.
Turn on chat for only some friends:
In option two select this radio button works as same in first option but this is a little but of different from first offline and online status of facebook chatting feature. You can also use this if you wish. Otherwise remain it default.
Turn off chat:
Here is also another option exist for entire chatting system. People who use facebook for their own purpose like for promoting their products, pages and brands they may use this option? They remain offline while surfing fb online because they have lack of time for chatting.
Note: If any one use this option then he remain always unreachable or offline from his friends until he again uncheck this option.
